Stock Condition Survey – Savills
I am writing to inform you that a firm of Surveyors, Savills, has been commissioned by the Council to undertake a representative Stock Condition Survey of Council property. This will involve the surveyors gaining access to a number of homes to gather information regarding their condition. They will also look at communal areas and gardens. The purpose of the survey is to assist the Council with assessing future repairs and maintenance requirements.
The survey commenced in December 2011 with the intention of completing by February 2012. A surveyor may call at your property during this period and, if this is the case, I would be grateful if you could give him/her access. All surveyors will be wearing a Savills identification badge and will carry a letter of authority on London Borough Camden headed paper. If you are uncertain of the identity of the caller or have any concerns or queries then please call London Borough Camden on 020 7974 3348.
I would stress that you should not take time off work, or wait in for a surveyor to call. If you are not at home should a surveyor call, he/she will simply go to a nearby property to complete a survey there instead.
