Lights Improvement

The residents of the Curnock Street Estate are still waiting for the light improvements promised by the council after an EVA visit on the estate. Nine months have passed and nothing has changed.

On the 22nd May 2018, Mr Paul Stephens (Contract Manager (Electrical) – Property Management – Supporting Communities) has wrote to Ms Vicky Morris stating:

“To improve the lighting of the playground area I would suggest replacing the column heads with double head type and on the side wall of Goldthorpe install an additional fitting in the middle of the wall, the only issue might be light pollution complaints or aim the light downwards but this will get less coverage.”

This suggestions was approved and accepted by nothing happened since then.
