New Communal Lights

Camden Council has installed new LED communal street lights inside the estate. They have replaced the old and inefficient lights with LED that provide more brighter environment and uses less electricity.

Camden Council had promised to install some extra lights 10 months ago after an EVA visit with Natasha Dickinson, Vicky Morris, the police and councillors. However, nothing had happened for a very long time. At one point we were informed that the lights had been installed many months ago which was not true.

The residents of the Curnock Street Estate are still waiting for the light improvements promised by the council after an EVA visit on the estate. Nine months have passed and nothing has changed.

Half of the Communal Lights on the Curnock Estate are not working. All communal lights in Goldthorpe, Billingley, Mexborough, Barnborough and Darfield as well as the communal areas between those buildings are not working since 3 am.
