The Highest Individual Compensation (Hot Water) was £657.84

Heating Refund 2012 Under the Freedom Of Information Act we found that 34 payments have been made to tenants totalling £9,977.87. The highest individual amount awarded was £657.84. Average compensation of £282.43.

The rest 252 flats were compensated with £100 each which “..is over and above terms dictated by the policy” according to Mr Wheatman.

The Camden Council has already awarded (since May 2012) compensation to the council tenants of the Curnock Street Estate for the loss of hot water between Dec 2011 and April 2012.

I would like to request the following information under the FOI Act:

1) How many council tenants have received the compensation?
2) What is the total amount of money given to council tenants as compensations for that particular issue (loss of hot water Dec 2011 until April 2012)?
3) What was the highest amount awarded?

Information held, which can be disclosed under the terms of the Act, is that 34 payments have been made to tenants totalling £9,977.87. The highest individual amount awarded was £657.84.
