Mr Paul Leavey, Quality Assurance Team Leader, informed us that: “The gates/grilles on the means of escape do have to be removed and, of course, we would be doing so when replacing the flat entrance doors. The grilles would be returned to their owners and they will be advised that they cannot refit them due to the reasons stated below. If this is ignored we will refer them for action under the terms of the tenancy agreement or lease, as appropriate.
We do of course recognise resident’s concerns on security but will assure them with the doors we intend to install.”
