Yesterday the council’s contractors started with the repair of the communal doors at 08:00 in the morning and they finished around 19:00.

They have fixed the communal entrance doors at the Goldthorpe Building and the entrance doors are now fully operational.

The contractors mentioned that there are still infestation problems at the refuse room where the cables are located.

He also mentioned that the rats had a nest behind the ceiling cover near the cables. They have left the covers off so the rats cannot build another nest. See the photo on the left.
