TO ALL RESIDENTS OF GOLDTHORPE
Dear Resident,
Re: Children playing and kicking football, etc. on the balconies at Goldthorpe House
The District Housing Office has received several allegation of children playing and kicking football on balconies and other unauthorised areas in Goldthorpe.
Please be aware that these behaviours are not acceptable, as it constitute disturbance and nuisance to other residents.
Considering the school holidays starting this weekend, I want to plead to all parents with children in the building, to ensure that their children must be controlled and ensure they do not play or kick football anywhere on the balconies or around the flats. Please ensure you take your children to parks and designated areas to kick or play their football.
Your tenancy/lease agreement states the following:
2. Antisocial behaviour
a) You or anyone else living with your or visiting your home, must not do, cause, encourage or allow to be done, anything which causes or is likely to cause nuisance, or may cause harassment or annoyance to anyone else. This applies in your home, on your estate, on any of your property, or in the locality of your home.
Please be reminded that perpetrating this behaviour is a breach of your tenancy/lease and London Borough of Camden will not hesitate to take appropriate actions against offenders.
I hope I can rely on your cooperation in making Goldthorpe and its environment peaceful and noise-free during this coming school holidays.
Thank you for your co-operation in this matter.
Yours sincerely,
Adebayo Banjo
Housing Officer
