You can now report emergency and essential repairs through webchat. The new repairs webchat is quick and convenient, saving you time when booking a repair.
You’ll be connected to someone in the council’s repairs team and you’ll be able to share photos of your repair and get instant responses.
How to report your repair
Try the new online webchat to report your emergency or essential repair.
From 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, visit camden.gov.uk/housing-repairs and click on the blue box to start your webchat report.
You can also call Camden Council on 020 7974 4444 option 3 then 1 to report a repair 8am to 6pm, Monday to Friday. Please only call them outside these hours or at the weekend if your repair is an emergency.
You can also report a repair by completing the online form at camden.gov.uk/housing-repairs – please do not use this form if your repair is an emergency.
Please only report emergency and essential repairs
Camden Council is still only carrying out emergency and essential repairs inside tenants’ homes, and repairs to communal areas. Please continue to help their repairs team by only reporting your repair if it’s an emergency or essential.
Emergency repairs include suspected gas or carbon monoxide leaks, loss of hot water or any other works needed to keep homes safe.
Essential repairs include restoring partial loss of power, such as to sockets, serious leaks or other problems that are likely to lead to further damage if they aren’t fixed.
We aren’t booking non-essential repairs right now so please don’t report them. If you’re unsure if your repair is essential, visit camden.gov.uk/housing-repairs to find out.
