Airbnb Lettings are not allowed on council properties

On yesterday’s Camden Town DMC Meeting, the message was clear and loud: “short lets such as airbnbs are not allowed to any council properties. The council’s leases or tenancy agreements have specific clauses that prohibits those activities”.  This was confirmed by Antony Holmes – Neighbourhood Manager.

If you notice any flats that are rented as short lets please inform our housing manager, Bronagh Todd – Neighbourhood Housing Officer, who will investigate the situation and take all the necessary actions to stop those activities. The council will even take action to take the lease back if necessary but this is very difficult.
