Curnock TRA – No One Expressed An Interest to Participate

Curnock TRA Partitipation On the 14th November 2013, we received the following response from the council regarding our FOI request about the residents’ interest to participate to the Curnock TRA:

“…no one expressed an interest to participate so that the council refused no one’s participation.”

On that Freedom Of Information request we asked the following two simple questions:

1) Could you please let me know how many people replied and how many people expressed interest to participate to the TRA?

2) Did the council refuse the participation of any residents and how many were refused?

Our FOI request was based on the letter titled “Curnock TRA – help needed” that Mr Amran Ahmed, Estate Officer for the Curnock Estate, sent to residents on July 2013 asking for help.

However, the above response seems to be wrong since we already have evidence that shows that Camden Council has refused the participation of certain residents!

  1. I personally have expressed interest to participate and I have a written confirmation from Mr Ahmed about that. It seems that someone in the council is not providing the correct information and it would be interesting to find out why.
