Camden council has erected metal fencing last week around the large ramps which are located near Trimdon building.
Michelle Buckberry, Community Intervention Officer, also informed us that “all ramps on the estate are due to have the same treatment, which we hope will detract rough sleepers and reduce the associated ASB and other health and safety concerns on the estate.”
The only disadvantage of the current design is the lack of access to the area below the ramp for cleaning. There is a huge gap alongside the ramp and the wall as it can be seen on the photo (right).
Many rubbish are thrown there either by accident or carelessness. This area will not be easy to clean by the Veola cleaners.
We hope that there won’t be any increase of the rodents because of that.
