SUMMARY OF OUTSTANDING ISSUES

Gates – An order has been placed with the Parking and Access team for a key

Fencing behind Barnborough outside Refuse room – These works have been booked with our contractor and should be completed within the next two weeks.

Rust on main entrances (Goldthorpe & Billingley) – Caretaker has informed us that: “I contacted out repairs manager in order to gather information on this matter. His response is below. However, it may be some years before any external better homes projects are carried out on the Curnock Estate so I plan to speak with my manager to ask permission for the caretaker to possibly apply some chemical to treat the rust and prevent it spreading.

With the exception of making it safe the replacement and decoration of these areas and the fences etc.. is not the remit of D2D (day to day) repairs and this needs to be scoped and put forward into external better homes projects.”

Metal Garage vents– Caretaker informed us that: “I assume as the vents are part of the buildings Camden Council own and are responsible for the vents. But as stated by our repairs manager above these types of repairs are not in the remit of the D2D repairs and will be picked up when an external better homes project is in place.”

Metal Railings repair or replace – Caretaker has received confirmation that a job will be raised to have a welder go out and repair the railings. He has requested a job number but have yet to receive one but will keep chasing.

Closure of Refuse rooms in Goldthorpe – Caretaker informed us that: “Some time back I met with the SAMO and he agreed to order the extra Euro bins so we can shut down the bin room. I await a response as to where the bins are going to arrive.”

The fencing behind Warmsworth has loose and it is very dangerous – Job raised under ref 2194293/1

The lock for the playground fence door (behind Warmsworth) – This padlock was not damaged. It was just unlocked. Caretaker has now locked the gates.

Both building lights above communal door on Goldthorpe – Job raised under ref 2194274/1

The light behind the Billingley’s communal entrance is not working. – The caretaker will deal with this matter and change the bulb.
