Veolia has missed Friday collection on our estate and for that reason the Saturday crew came to empty the bins. Unfortunately they emptied only the bins near the gates and not the internal bins on Goldthorpe, Thurnscoe or other buildings.

Veolia’s crew also did not return the bins in their places and they left them in a position that was obstructing the gates as well as visible to the main street. This, as many residents already know, encourages more fly-tipping from commercial premises and flats on Pratt Street.

Curnock Street TRA chairman went outside and put the bins back in place and then informed the council and Veolia about the situation.
