Letter to Street Properties

Camden Council has delivered by hand the following letter to all properties on Pratt Street:

RE: Rubbish Collection and Presentation Guidelines.

This letter is to kindly remind you of the recycling and rubbish collection guidelines for your property. Please follow this information to get the most of the service, and to keep your street tidy.

Your collection day for recycling and food waste is weekly, every Monday.

Your collection day for rubbish is weekly, on Mondays. Your next collection day for rubbish, recycling and food waste is Add next Monday

Please do not put out your rubbish on non-collection days.

  • Please put your recycling, rubbish and food waste no later than 7 pm Sunday or 7am on Mondays  mornings, your waste must be presented directly outside your property.
  • DO-NOT place waste out for collection in receptacles located inside the Curnock estate, Placing waste inside of these bins may result in a Fixed penalty notice being issued to you and can effect your tenancy conditions

85% of your general rubbish could actually be recycled! Recycling is collected from your clear-recycling bags. Correctly recycling your plastic containers, bottles, paper, card, metal tins, cans and glass can all help to protect the environment.

  • Our crews are instructed not to collect recycling bins that contain non-recyclable materials. This includes black bags, food, textiles, nappies, polystyrene and other contaminants. Take a look at the enclosed information to find out which materials are recyclable.

We can also collect large items (bulky waste) that don’t fit in your bin. This includes mattresses, sofas and fridges. For more information, and to arrange a collection, please call 020 3567 8105 or visit our website at www.camden.gov.uk/bulky-waste-collection. Please note this is a paid-for service.

You can get street cleaning issues resolved quickly through the Clean Camden app. Please visit www.camden.gov.uk/clean-camden to download the free app on your phone.

We would like to thank you in advance for helping Camden to recycle more. If you would like further information on waste management at your property, please visit our website at www.camden.gov.uk/recycling-and-rubbish.
