Installation Of new CCTV cameras begins

As part of our commitment to making Camden a safer place for residents to live, we will be installing new cameras as part of the Housing CCTV upgrade project on Cumock Street Estate. The cameras will connect to the new network recently installed, bringing real-time images back into the council’s dedicated 24-hour CCTV control room.

Noisy works

Our contractors Tyco/JCI will be carrying out noisy civils works on your estate from Wednesday 21 st June until Friday 7th July. We will aim to keep disruption to a minimum as much as possible and
thank you in advance for your patience.

Existing CCTV

We are not turning off our existing CCTV system during this installation and still have a dedicated CCTV repairs team working to fix faults and maintain the current system. Upon completion of
vigorous testing on the newly installed cameras, the existing cameras will be switched off and removed. The transition between old and new cameras is a seamless transition not affecting
residents.
